Ethical Challenges in Pediatric Research
The lecture will address the ethical challenges in conducting research with children with the focus on research in low and middle income settings. This talk will draw from experience conducting paediatric clinical trials and will include issues around minimal risks, parental consent, child assent and the notion of vulnerabilities in research.
