Russell Woodruff

 

Russell Woodruff, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at St. Bonaventure University, specializing in value theory and applied ethics. He teaches Philosophy of Science and Medicine, Death & Dying, Health Care Ethics, and Philosophy of Aging, and has developed and taught a community-based learning course, Values at the End of Life. His recent relevant publications include “Aging and the Maintenance of Dignity” in The Palgrave Handbook of the Philosophy of Aging (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016) and “Thinking Critically about Autonomy and Dependency in Aging” in A Hands-On Approach to Teaching about Aging (Springer, 2017).
