Trauma Research & Trauma Informed Research Practises

There is a significant amount of research in both the social and biological sciences that is focused on traumatic experiences or with trauma survivors. As we gain a greater understanding of the impacts of trauma on survivors, it is becoming increasingly important that this research be designed and conducted in trauma-informed ways. This lecture will provide an overview of recent research findings on the impacts of trauma on survivors, and will review current best practices in trauma informed research for both study participants and researchers.
